Tom smiled. "As you wish." He disappeared for a moment, then returned with a book. "This story is called John Jones's Dollar, and it's very cute."
Alison chuckled. "Almost as cute as me, right?"
Tom gave her a tender look. "Almost, my dear." He began to read.
"That was awesome," Alison giggled as he finished. "Are there any other funny short stories you have?"
Tom chuckled. "Lots." He showed her several.
Alison smiled. "Can we read..."
