"Those Moschino knee highs," she downright purrs, pawing gently at the window. "Do you have any idea how many girls would be jealous if I wore those to the high school?"
"They do look nice," you say, then make an act of looking her head to toe, then back up again, lingering on her chest. "And hell, I'd be jealous of you if you wore those, and I'm a guy!"
Her laugh is sweet and innocent, and she looks back in the window, a sad look crossing her face.
"What?" you ask, seizing the opportunity to lay your hand on her shoulder. She looks up at you, doe-eyed.
