"Try to see if you can break free," you whisper.
The chairs creek and groan as the two of you try to just brute force your way to freedom. The woman doesn't seem to be having any luck but a few strong pulls later and the ropes holding your wrist snap. You quickly untie the knots of the rest of your ropes and in a few minutes you're free!
The woman is still struggling and seems unable to get loose.
