You can see no possible way to escape from this mess. You dissolve into tears. After you finish crying, you can hear the pirates in the hallway talking…talking about you! You get closer to the door and listen in. You hear that your father was responsible for sinking Captain Whitlock’s ship, and that’s why the pirates have kidnapped you and taken The Rising Sun. And now that the pirates have a new boat, they are going to go looking for the treasure your father hid when he took it from Captain Whitlock.
