Well, given that this clown character is apparently not an actual circus performer (based on what the earlier author did with the "juggle torches" answer), I think if he tried a Houdini-style escape, he'd probably end up dead (which is fine for that thread). So maybe that's one option - he lures a girl away to show his amazing feat of escape, only to end up dead (and thus heaven/hell/purgatory)...possibly because the child innocently sabotages the trick.

But I think he ought to have some other magic tricks to choose from, using whatever dreck he bought from the local magic shop. Either to lure the girl away to "see more tricks" (similar plot to the kidnap option) or else to get her knocked out (e.g., he magically produces lollipops laced with knockout drops).

Do you think you could write a page where he lures a a child to one side, with a few specific trick options?
