Thank you for helping me with my story! I'm new to editing Wikis so I don't know to add categories and all that plus I make mistakes often. Thanks. One question, why did you delete 666? It was a perfectly good room!

Since this page has become rather cluttered, I've moved old discussions to the archive page below. Feel free to leave new messages here. I'll get back to you ASAP!

Okay

Sorry about that. I'll try my best to do keep things right. I'm usually pretty good about this stuff but far from the best. If I'm doing anything wrong, just let me know and I'll do my best to fix it.-121 18:25, 30 January 2009 (PST)

Misc.

I created a separate page which I use to describe a few points on the status bar, thereby allowing me to remove it from the main page and giving a end result that I think looks much nicer. However, since it's not technically part of the story if this is a problem feel free to delete it. Just let me know if you do so I can re-add the information to the first page. - Katrex 18:48, 28 September 2008 (PDT)

Platypus,

Not all of them are endings. Im actually refreshing it with a new side story.

Sex Romp updates

Just a brief note so you'll know I'm enjoying the SSR outrageousness. I especially like Lynn the ballerina, her determination to bring as many in as possible, and her slightly foul-mouthed amazement at their (lack of) limits. I'd like to see more of Lynn... pity there's no option (yet) to let her follow the player home and playfully boss him around some more. (-:

Hey man i just want to thank you for helping me out with my story since im new to this and all. So anyway, thanks man :D.

Yeah, it's pretty amazing, thanks. Treebeard 21:34, 24 November 2008 (PST)

My Threads (University Daze)

Thanks for the grammar nazi'ing. I have a habit of coming back (read: much) later and fixing what I write. It helps to be distanced from it, otherwise I don't spot errors and can't really tell whether I like what I've written. You've made my job easier.

skilful / skillful

"skilful" is a better spelling than "skillful" because whereas both spellings are acceptable in American English, only "skilful" is allowed in British English. Therefore that's the spelling that should be used here: Rock, Paper, Scissors/Rock/Rock.--Alphador 03:36, 12 December 2008 (PST)

Newbie

Hey - just discovered this site and have been perusing some of your work. I have a question - is it permitted to add gay options to existing stories? I am not sure what the accepted rules are. I can start my own story, but thought it might be fun to add to some of the existing adult CYOAs. PhinnyGene 12:36, 17 December 2008 (PST)

Yes. Adding gay options to existing stories is allowed. --Platypus 16:03, 17 December 2008 (PST)

I added an option to the Fuck Christie's tits page of Jack Foster -- I see you reverted it -- did I do something wrong? I thought we were encouraged to add more possible options...? PhinnyGene 20:29, 19 December 2008 (PST)

Sub Categories

I noticed that in SSR you have a separate category for all of the locations in that story. I was wondering if this is something that should be done for all non-story pages of an adventure. In my story, War of Nations, I do have a couple of spells with links that aren't related to the plot but instead explain what the spell does. Also, second question, Should I begin all of my options with War of Nations/ or is it okay to remove that part? Thirdly, how exactly do I create a category?

  • I created the location subcategory mainly so I could track how many pages are in a given location and make it easier to get to pages in a given location. From a location's page, I can click on "What Links Here" and see all the pages in that location. If you want to make a subcategory for spells, feel free.

Should you begin all options with War of Nations? It's up to you. Adding that to the option name does keep you from accidentally crossing pages with another story.

Creating a category is much like creating a regular page. Type [[Category: Category Name]] on a page and the page is now categorized. Click on the red Category Name and you go to an index page showing all the pages in the category. If you place the name of another category on that index page, your new category become a subcategory. --Platypus 17:23, 1 February 2009 (PST)
