You tiptoe nimbly over threads of web and crouch under strands of silky white. The wall has a doorway-sized crevice in it, a crack that leads to a rocky chamber of darkness and shiny strings. The spiderwebs intensify here.

Further along the main corridor of minor webs is a left turn that brings dry heat and a coat of sand across the floor.

Do you:

• Return to the mansion's entrance hall.
• Enter the dark crevice of many webs.
• Explore around the corner to see where the sand and heat leads.
