I might as well ask, I thought to myself. It was quite clear that he was dying to tell me.

"The name is Enice. Renowned researcher, necromancer, lover, and cook, at your service."

"Lover?" Beldion snorted, though Enice paid him no mind.

"Okay," I said in disapproving voice, "but what are you doing here."

"Why, I've been following you of course." He said with a pleased expression.

"Following me?" I asked in surprise. There's no way he could have been following me without me noticing.

"Yes, just shortly after you left the village of Ollenfields."

I almost choked on my eggs. That was just shortly after I left the Craiss homelands.

"Why have you waited this long to show yourself to me?"

"Oh I got tired of waiting! I nearly lost myself when I saw you fighting today. If you hadnt have killed them I would have torn them apart for daring to hurt you," Enice's hands idly grabbed at his robes, pulling and tugging at the clothing as he seemed visibly disturbed by the mere thought that someone would even imagine hurting me. Beldion shot me a concerned look.
