Wife

You eventually find yourself hardly talking at all as the two talk between themselves. You notice Aimee has had quite a few wines by now and is starting to seem a bit tipsy. Craig still has his old tendency to stare at Aimee, you notice, his eyes almost always focused on her figure. Aimee continues to laugh at every joke Craig makes, and even the comments that aren't funny. Eventually you just try to finish your meal as fast as you can so you can leave with Aimee.

What's the hurry? Craig asks with a smile. You know, that's how I got so big in the first place. Aimee laughs at his joke.

Well, you're not that big now! I mean, your body size. You could still be big, I guess... Erm... She trails off, the alcohol obviously taking effect.

Craig gives a slight smile to Aimee. You wouldn't be the first to tell me.

Oh, you! Stop it, my husband is right here. She slaps his arm playfully.

You grit your teeth quietly as the two flirt, however you feel slightly odd in your stomach, like butterflies, something that you think you shouldn't be feeling in this situation.

And to think we thought you were just feeling lonely. Aimee shoots a smile at you.

Lonely? Not at all. I've moved to the city with a bunch of my brothers from the Army. We're never bored.

Aimee giggles softly, her hand somehow now resting on Craig's knee. A bunch of Army boys under the same roof? Sounds dangerous...

Oh, you have no idea. Craig responds, giving Aimee a big grin.

Having had enough of this, you clear your throat and speak up.

Well, it's been nice seeing you Craig. It's getting pretty late so I guess we should call it a night. You stand up to finalise your notion.

Aww! Spoil sport! Aimee pouts at you and crosses her arms.

Ah, I guess you're right. I'll get a cab, I've had way too much to drink, I think. Craig slowly stands up too.

Aimee frowns and looks at you. We should drop him off, cabs around here at this time of night are expensive! They basically rob you.

Craig speaks up before you can comment. Oh, that's really nice of you. He offers a polite smile.

Aimee grabs Craig's arm and guides him out the door without waiting for your response.

You follow them out and get into the car, just wanting to drop him off and be done with the night. You frown as both Craig and Aimee get into the back seat together, leaving the front passenger side unoccupied. Whatever. You think to yourself as you start up the car and make your way out of the car park.

So where do you live? You look up at the rear-view mirror at the two, noticing Aimee's hand on Craig's thigh.

I live in Westchester, I'll point you the rest of the way once we get there... Craig responds with a smile.

Westchester? That's over an hour away! Amy gasps. You smirk, thinking she'll naturally be mad at him for making you drive over 2 hours out of the way.

You know what? You should crash at our place. I can drop you off tomorrow. Aimee responds, completely taking you by surprise.

Really? That's a really kind offer... Craig responds, his voice slightly hopeful.

Truly! You'll have to take the lounge though, there's not enough room in the bed for all of us. Aimee laughs, slapping Craig's arm as she does.

Oh, that's a shame. You hear that mate? You'll have to sleep on the lounge. Not enough room for all of us. Craig shouts to you with a big grin. Aimee slaps him on the arm again accompanied with another big laugh. You notice she's now rubbing Craig's leg slightly, although he doesn't seem to mind. His own arm somehow now around Aimee's waist.

You definitely don't want him staying at your place.
