While in Moria, Gandalf and Frodo have a talk about Gollum. Gandalf considers all he knows of the poor creature.
Decision
You are still on Tolkien's path. What should Gandalf do?
- Gandalf tells Frodo to feel pity for Gollum, and not be so quick to deal out death as judgement.
- Gandalf tells Frodo that Gollum is dangerous, and if he ever sees him, he should kill him.
- Gandalf decides say nothing of Gollum, and let Frodo come to his own conclusions.
