By the time reached the bedroom Amanda had already closed herself in the bathroom and he could hear the shower running. A trail of her clothes led from the bedroom door to the bathroom. Mike closed the door behind him and scooped up her things. He kicked off his pants and socks and pulled his shirt off over his head, adding them to the pile of his wife’s things in the hamper.
Mike leaped onto the bed and struck a sexy pose; his head propped up on one hand, legs akimbo. After a few moments, he sighed. Patience had never been his strong suit.
