Shelter means safety means not dying means.. well... living I guess? But what kind of shelter would be best? You could try and make one in the trees, away from the possible dangers on the ground. Plus you would get a good view over the area! Or maybe you could go look for a cave? You would be sheltered from all the elements of nature and it would be pretty easy to protect yourself from wildlife. Or maybe you can set up a camp on the plains? You'd get a good view of any wildlife trying to stalk you and other survivors would be able to see you with easy!
