The Lazarus Project, was a Cerberus project, the sole purpose of which was to bring Commander Shepard back from the dead. The project took 2 years and over 4 billion credits to complete. Undertaken by the Lazarus Cell, which was headed by Miranda Lawson and her assistant Wilson, it involved attaching cybernetic implants to reconstruct the Commander's skeleton, reconstruction of the skin, and fluids to restart the blood flow and internal organs. As part of the project, Shepard underwent full body reconstruction, of which Cerberus had unlimited control over the design of Shepard's new form...
From a design perspective, Cerberus considered altering Shepard's body into that of an oversexed Bimbo body, with the idea that Shepard might have an advantage in 'convincing' her new team members to join her. Another idea was to enhance and optimize Shepard's body, with Amazonian height and muscles, so that she could better fight the enemies of humanity...
