You collapse against the door in the throes of emotional agony. This is just all too much to bear. You go over the day’s events in your head, wondering where you went wrong, what you could have done differently, but you did everything to the best of your abilities and that is why… that is why you have to end it all, because it just isn’t going to go uphill from here.
