"Alexis!" you call, and this time successfully get her attention. She looks up from the vehicle as you walk down the path toward her car so you won't have to shout anymore.
"What is it?" she asks, "I thought you had somewhere you needed to be?"
"I changed my mind. It can wait. I'd rather do something with you today," you say, resting your hands on the top of the car.
