"Hello, Jack," she says, her voice unusually soft.
You pull her into a hug. "Hello, Amanda. You look marvelous, as always."
Amanda giggles. "I know." She pauses. "I'm kind of surprised you wanted to spend time with me. Lindsay would be off in an alcove somewhere blowing you right now."
You chuckle. "I'm aware of that. Can I walk you home?"
30 minutes later, you and Amanda are sitting on her bed. "You made it into my bedroom," Amanda laughs. "But that doesn't mean I'll strip, bend over and let you have your way with me just because you're Jack Foster."
