+ | The stories with their page count bolded are the ones using the PAGESINCAT "magic word" format to allow the wiki to display the number of pages in the relevant category, as opposed to all the other stories where the page count is typed in and then periodically updated by human users. In actuality, things should be the other way around. The wiki does not produce an accurate page count for categories containing more than 1,000 pages. Smutty Sex Romp, for example, has an actual page count of over 12,000, not the "mere" 3,700 or so pages the wiki reports it as having. --[[User:Platypus|Platypus]] 21:08, 5 May 2012 (UTC)

+ | 12,000! *whistle* Damn. I apologize if I am wasting your time with these questions, but that means that the category page is off as well? Seeing as how it reads "The following 200 pages are in this category, out of 3,619 total." Rather than "The following 200 pages are in this category, out of 12 freaking thousand total." So is it just the count that is inaccurate or are some of the pages just not shown in the category section? Again, I apologize if I am being an idiot. --[[User:Nonsense|Nonsense]] 21:30, 5 May 2012 (UTC)

I noticed that the articles with +500 pages are in bold. However, there are several articles with ~300/400 pages that really seem to hold up and have substantial content as well. Should the requirement for a bold number of pages be reduced to 300? (A side note: is there a reason that "The Story of Jack Foster" has it's number of pages as "(3Qh00+ pages)?" It is really bugging me.) --Nonsense 19:38, 5 May 2012 (UTC)
The only reason I can think of for "3Qh00" is that someone mistyped, didn't notice that they mistyped, and failed to correct it. --Platypus 21:02, 5 May 2012 (UTC)
The stories with their page count bolded are the ones using the PAGESINCAT "magic word" format to allow the wiki to display the number of pages in the relevant category, as opposed to all the other stories where the page count is typed in and then periodically updated by human users. In actuality, things should be the other way around. The wiki does not produce an accurate page count for categories containing more than 1,000 pages. Smutty Sex Romp, for example, has an actual page count of over 12,000, not the "mere" 3,700 or so pages the wiki reports it as having. --Platypus 21:08, 5 May 2012 (UTC)

Am I Doing the Right Thing?
Seeing as how the adult section has been separated from the rest of the stories, it seemed like the general discussion page is not the correct place to be having a discussion of general adult content. If I am false in this belief, feel free to let me know. If this page is going to be deleted, drop me a message and let me know where the appropriate place is for the discussion, thanks. (Oh, and feel free to replace this with some sort of official "this is the place to talk about the adult section" thing.)

Confidence Issues, and the Writers That Have Them
Is anyone else absolutely tired of seeing cock measurements? It is always one of two things, either:
- ...and it is a puny, pathetic measly 5 inch penis lol, how tiny and worthless! No woman could possibly ever be satisfied by such a small and useless penis! The (optional depending on circumstance) woman sees the penis and just laughs! She was going to have sex/be raped but now she just laughs at the pathetic 5 inch penis! You kill yourself for having a worthless pathetic penis/you have sex anyway but it is five seconds long and the woman laughs the whole time and you could never even dream of satisfying her with such a pathetic 5 inch penis!
or...
- ... and you pull out your monster 8-11 inch penis and the woman you about to have sex with/have been hitting on/are trying to rape immediately is super horny and wet and craves your cock because all she has ever had is a pathetic 5 inch penis and she knows she needs a real mans 8-11 inch monster cock up inside of her! She immediately begs you to fuck her and you fuck her good and give her so many orgasms with your monster penis. She is now your sex slave for life and will fuck you whenever she wants just like all women will because you have a monster penis!
(Note: the character may in fact be another individual other than the player character, in which "you" would obviously be replaced with the name of the character or appropriate words like "he, him, etc.")
Is anyone else fucking tired of this pathetic bullshit? Seriously, this sort of writing is just demeaning to everyone involved, and makes it look like the writer has some serious self confidence issues. Even worse than that, it's just a turn off. Which I am pretty sure is something that shouldn't be in my erotica, during the sex scenes! As someone who does appreciate the look of a cock, let me say that these idiotic measurements are something that never come up in my head, because it just doesn't work that way. And by the way, I'll take a 5 inch cock over a 8-11 inch one any day.

I´m more impressed by every characters impeccable ability to know which bra-size a woman wears even when she´s wearing thick clothing!
What to say on the subject. Well, having read sex stories on the net for like, 10 years now. I guess you can say that there are two kinds of writers; smut- and erotic authors.
Erotic authors try to write about what´s good about sex stories. Stay classy, be realistic and be intellectual. Stories can still be primal and dirty, yet in a smart way - so nobodies cock size is going to be twice as long as normal and be the sole initiative for arousal.
Smut writers on the other hand... write about fetish-worlds. They like the lewd, wrong, fetishsised part of sex. Yea it´s unrealistic, but that´s the point, it´s a fetish-world. A fetish-world is about creating arousal around fake stuff, cock-size fixation is a big part about that. But hey, it´s a matter of taste, some people just like their fetish-world. Some people don´t.
Actually, there probably should be some storylines where your character whips out a foot-long piece of meat and the intended target recoils in terror because she doesn't want to have some oversized wiener poking against her cervix. Only in a fantasy is there an infinite amount of space inside a vagina, waiting to be packed with as much penis as inhumanly possible. --Platypus 03:40, 29 April 2012 (UTC)
