The Nintendo GameCube was a close runner up for best video game console of the sixth generation, but it simply could not keep up with the PlayStation 2. The console had great games, a great controller, and overall was a great console. It is one of the smallest home consoles. Only a few GameCube games had online capabilities, and that was becoming a big thing.
