Marlondian Wood
From Confusopedia
Marlondian Wood (This Land has Flown) é o hino nacional oficial de Marlon Brando Island, instituído em 19/11/1982. A composição é uma paródia de Norwegian Wood (This Bird Has Flown) [1], do célebre grupo britânico The Beatles. A letra foi adaptada pelo General Tapioca pessoalmente em 1982, logo após a fundação do país.
O arranjo deve ser tocado com cítara, contrabaixo e violão, e é semelhante ao da canção original de Lennon & McCartney.
[edit] Letra
Music by John Lennon and Paul McCartney, lyrics adapted by General Tapioca
- I once had an island
- Or, should I say
- She once had me?
- Trees born in its womb
- Isn't it good?
- Marlondian Wood
- I wanted to stay
- And she told me to sit anywhere
- So I looked around
- And noticed the weather was fair
- I sat on the grass
- Enjoying my time
- Feeling so fine
- I can't explain you
- The comfortably bed
- Of the dream I had
- Its people had worked in the morning
- In cities and fields
- For this feeling of loving
- The country they built
- And when I awoke
- The people have grown
- This land has flown
- So they lit a fire
- Isn't it good?
- Marlondian Wood
