The Real Rubyrulez Episode #4

Munchy forgets His and Lisa's one month anniversary, so after she shows up at his doorstep, he has to bring her somewhere. However, it's Sunday, and the only place that's open on a Sunday is the last place she expected.

{Opening Credits}

{Cut to a shot of the Apartment Complex. After the music ends, cut to Munchy, in his apartment, watching television}

TV: And coming up on NBC, The Apprentice! Stay tuned, you're not gonna wanna miss this!

MUNCHY: You know, oddly enough, this TV doesn't know what I want to miss and what I don't want to miss.

{The doorbell rings. Munchy stands up.}

MUNCHY: Good thing I got that brand new doorbell! I would've been bored out of my skull with the old one.

{The doorbell rings. Munchy walks off screen. Cut to Munchy standing near the open door. Lisa is in the doorway.}

MUNCHY: Oh, G'day Lisa!

LISA: {angrily} What's so good about it, you idiot?!

MUNCHY: I'm sorry, I don't quite catch your drift.

{As he says this, the word drift appears above his head.}

{Lisa appears against a red background, with the word angry above her head.}

LISA: Aren't you aware of what day it is!

MUNCHY: Well, actually I had no idea.

{Lisa holds up what appears to be a calendar. Munchy moves in closer to the calendar while Lisa brings the calendar closer.}

LISA: It's our one month anniversary, stupid!

MUNCHY: {In different voice} You know, I had no idea that people even celebrated one month anniversaries.

LISA: Well I do, stupid!

{Cut to a shot of Munchy standing next to the television, which is now turned around.}

TV: Coming up on the 11 'o clock news, you're screwed-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d...heh heh, d-d-d...

MUNCHY: Alright Lisa, I'll make it up to you!

{Munchy begins to move backwards as the TV moves off screen. Lisa moves onscreen.}

LISA: You'd better have something planned for tonight, or else it's over!

MUNCHY: I think you're overdue for something special. Let me check out the {He pulls out a red book} Sonnet Town visitors guide.

LISA: They don't make those, people barely visit this town.

{As Lisa says this, the words "Faker than a Tony Lazzeri baseball" appear near the book.}

MUNCHY: Where there's a will, there's a way! I'll think of something, honey!

{Cut to a shot of Munchy, holding the book open to reveal page with writing. Next to that page is a picture of the Toy Store. Cut to a random narrator guy.}

NARRATOR: 30 minutes later!

{As he says this, the number 30 in different styles and colors flash on the screen. Cut to Munchy and Lisa, standing in the Toy Store. Lisa looks furious.}

LISA: I hate you forever until the end of time!

{Blank Screen}

{Cut to an outside shot of the Toy Store. Once the music stops, cut to a shot of Lisa.}

LISA: A Toy Store? Tell me, what was running through your thick skull when you decided to bring me to a friggen toy store?

{The Toy Store Guy appears on screen from below}

TOY STORE GUY: Hey lady, we here at friggen toys appreciate our line of work!

{Cut to a shot of Munchy. The words "Truth hurts" appears above his head, as does a picture of a broken heart}

MUNCHY: But, nothing else was open!

{Cut to a blank shot. The words "I Hate You" appear on screen, as well as an angry face. The e in Hate is backwards, and is surrounded by a blue star.}

LISA: I hate you!

{Cut to a shot of Munchy walking toward some shelves. Teddy Bears begin appearing on the shelves as he gets closer}

MUNCHY: {in different voice} Aw, come on Lisa! Hey, I'll buy you anything you want, anything at all! You name it, you got it!

LISA: {offscreen} I don't want any friggen toys!

{Munchy picks up one of the Teddy Bears}

MUNCHY: Hey, hey, look at this, they have a Krazy Teddie Teddy Bear doll! Oh, Ruby loves these.

{Cut to Lisa.}

LISA: So get one for him, moron!

{Cut back to Munchy. He is holding a pair of pink rollerblades.}

MUNCHY: Or maybe you'd love a pair of rollerblades.

{The screen goes black with the words "The End" on it. Soon, the word "NOT!" appears, and soon after the word "LOL!" appears. Cut back to Lisa.}

LISA: I'd like to cram those rollerblades down your throat!

{Cut back to Munchy, who is holding a Jigsaw Puzzle}

MUNCHY: Maybe you'd like a jigsaw puzzle!

LISA: {off screen} I swear, I will FIND a jigsaw and cut you open if you don't bring me somewhere else NOW!

{The jigsaw puzzle disappears}

MUNCHY: {worried} But, where am I supposed to bring you? It's a Sunday! Everything else is closed on a Sunday!

LISA: I can think of one place!

{Cut back to Munchy, who is now standing next to the Toy Store Guy}

MUNCHY: {in different voice} Well, that's a relief.

TOY STORE GUY: Hey buddy, we here at Friggen Toys think you're getting more than what you bargained for!

MUNCHY: Oh, where do you think she's gonna take me?

{Cut to Munchy, who now seems to be tied up to a pole outside.}

MUNCHY: Was there ever a time where I didn't fall for somebody's tricks?

{Zoom out to reveal Munchy is tied to a pole, surrounded by The Bonfire. Con is tied opposite him.}

CON: No!

  • One of the few episodes in which Rubyrulez doesn't appear.
