So this is it then. You're finally here.
You thought it might, just might not come to this.
You thought at the last moment it just wouldn't be. You thought it might turn out that a dragon would be in the cave, and The Dragon would be impossible to find. Yet, you knew deep down, there was no getting out of this. All the fighting you've gone through, the idolation you've recieved, the lives you've touched, cannot come to naught.
You're in the middle of a large corridor inside The Dragon's cave. Ahead of you is its lair. You hear it blowing steam out its nostrils. It's waiting for you. Behind you is the opening to the cave. You can't hear the excitement and anticpation of the townspeople any more. The only noises are yours and The Dragon's. Your Sword is glowing brightly, desperate to achieve its divine purpose. And all you can feel is the desire to be anywhere else in the world.
