You thank Tern and walk up the stairs. "There's only one bed," you muse as you ascend. "You'll be sleeping on the floor, then."

You unlock and slowly open the door. The room is actually pretty decent. The window overlooks the street, although you will of course need the curtains closed often. The bath is surprisingly big and could fit two - not that Cyesh would ever get a turn. The walls appear to be well insulated, so while they're not perfectly soundproof, it's unlikely anyone who cares will hear Cyesh.

This is shaping up to be a great new home.

You adjust to life as a citizen/slave owner in Fellfeat quite quickly. You find a steady income by occasionally letting others have a turn with her for a steep price. She always comes back a mess, but these days she's a mess pretty much all of the time.

You learn it's quite fun having someone you can constantly abuse. You take the liberty of mistreating her as often as possible. She gets barely enough food and water to survive. You haven't let her wash at all since you bought her. You don't even let her leave the inn, except for when you take her to her clients. She quickly became quiet and submissive, and she almost never does anything that isn't crucial to her survival - that means, of course, that she does everything you command her to. She knows that if she does what you say and nothing else, you won't kill her. Cyesh is, and will forever be, the most beautiful creature in the land, and she's yours. Literally.
