From Create Your Own Story

I try to pay as much attention as possible to make sure I've added a category and options to my pages before I hit save, but sometimes my brain skips a step. I do know it needs to be on every page, and I've seen people get banned for leaving it out too many times, so just let me know if I left one out somewhere and I'll fix it when I see your message.

I probably finished adding the options and my brain just went "guess I'm done" and I hit save. I usually catch myself immediately when this happens, but I did run across a page where I didn't catch it. So, yeah. Just let me know.

It's okay. We all need to vent sometimes because there are some frustrating aspects to the site. Unfortunately, those aspects are under RobKohr's control, not mine. I stopped bothering with inserted pictures a long time ago. Back in the earlier days, we were able to upload pics directly to the site and link them internally. But then the site's capacity for storing images got used up and spambots invaded, so the 20-minute buffer had to be instituted. So, noticed your rant. I agree, that is why all my stories have sub groups. The only stories without the / are the first page, like, The Exhibitionist or Dirty Me.

Speaking of The Exhibitionist, I know it is not your normal story, but I wonder if you would be willing to contribute your idea. It doesn't take much. Just read over the main page, then write an option. I will create the story from your option, and you can even put in special requirements. I will modify the option itself as needed. Pretty please? lol, why not write your own hole in the wall story.

I actually was thinking of how one would.

"We are live here on the scene. This girl is somehow trapped in a whole in the wall. All efforts to remove her have failed, and right now she is being assisted by others for basic necessities."

"So, miss, can you explain how you ended up here?"

(Give some reason from the girls point of view.

From there, you could make it fun, funny, strange, or, well, this is this site after all, so you could make it adult.

Suddenly her eyes go wide and an annoyed expression comes over her face.

"What's wrong miss?" The reporter asks.

With a grunt, the girl explains. "Someone just pulled off my panties and stuck his...well, you know, in my...well, you know..."

The reporter looks at the girl shocked. "Are you fucking serious?" Looking against, she faces the camera. "Sorry about that slip folks."

She tells the camera man to follow her, and they leave the helpless girl, going outside the building to the other side of the hole, where they find a man pleasuring himself in this helpless girl.

"Get it on camera. Not live, you idiot, I mean just record."

The reporter and the camera man run up to the guy, the camera man filming the guy, making sure he gets his face, and what he is doing to the poor girl.

"Sir, what are you doing!" The guy, seeing the camera, the people running towards him, and the microphone pointed at him, quickly runs off, trying to do up his pants while he does. The reporter and camera man try to run after him, but quickly lose him. The camera man stops recording while the reporter pulls out her phone and dials the police while trying to clean up the helpless girl and put her panties back on.

The police arrive, and they hand over the footage, hoping it will help them identify her attacker.

Once everything is done, the camera man and reporter go back around to talk to the girl. "I stopped him, and we turned the information over to the police," She tells the trapped girl.

"Thanks," the girl says with a nod, a tear, and a grateful look on her face. "But, this isn't the first time," she tells the reporter. When asked for more, she starts telling the reporter about the experiences she has had being stuck in this wall.

Insert options, like how does she go to the restroom? How does she eat? How are her clothes changed? How is she entertained? What happens if no one helps her?

See, an opening that will grab the average CYoS readers attention, then some "life as someone stuck in a hole in the wall" story. Humanity at its best, like selflessly trying to help the girl even though they do not know her, can be written. Humanity at its worst, like the intro part of the story, or others taking advantage of this girl who cannot stop them, and cannot even tell who they are.

Anyways, you get the idea. If it is your fetish, write a story about it. Like my The Exhibitionist. It is one of my specific kinks. So, I wrote a story, so those who do like the same kind of thing can read it, and so I can enjoy my own writing.

Here is the problem: css before/after. I cannot figure out how to use them properly, so I cannot do some of the shapes from css-tricks.com/examples/ShapesOfCSS/. If I could figure out how to take css before::after, then I could get things like the ying yang on there, instead of:

Also, keep in mind you can have things like hover text. It won't really work for you on tablet, but me on computer, when I mouse over a <p title="something">Anything</p> and hold my mouse over the "Anything", you will get the little help text that will show "something".

It works good for things like hidden text in articles that can still be viewed.

Also, remember, you can make notes in the edit page by including something like: <!-- Comment -->

I have left a hidden comment you will not see here unless you click edit and read to give you an example.

It will even work with internal wiki links, because when it hits the front arrow, it stops reading it and skips to the back arrow (second comment below when you enter edit to read).

So, for example, you have lots of great ideas, but still need to put them in. And, you don't want spoilers. So, you just comment out your ideas. Then, when you edit it, you can see "Oh yeah, I wanted this", and have your own reminder.

I left a penis for Zenclair, because the stuff he is writing is, well, it sort of gets to me. I like your Janet path so far, although not sure about the burglars just saying "Well, he looks like a girl, so eh, we will just rape him like a girl". I have a good friend who is a male who feels he is a female, so I guess the male to female transgender? I have talked to him, her I guess?, alot, and tried to help her, teach her how to do makeup, etc. But, from my understanding, she isn't treated this way. When people who thought she was a real girl find out she has...other parts, they tend to start acting very differently.

Have you ever thought about getting the blue tooth keyboard? I have used one on a tablet before. They are okay. Or one of those things that let you plug one in to your tablet? The cord that plugs in to your usb, but has a usb in instead of out. Those are cheap. Sorry, I can't think of the name...nvm, found it. An OTG cable. I have heard those work.

For your "User page story", actually, many of the paths in Dirty Me are my real experiences. Or how I imagine it could have turned out. The opening, while the dream is not real (I can't remember my dreams), honestly, I did see two guys at a glory hole, which made me more curious than grossed out. One reason I really tried it. My Glory hole path is real. So is my public use path. It was something I set up, sort of a fantasy to life thing. Not sure if I included my prostitution stories in there though. I tried it for 1 night. Got beat pretty bad the last one, which is why I didn't do it again...

Although some paths are just fantasies, or just made for whomever reads them. Probably why they are not as good.

As for your "Read the rules and tutorial" thing, I admit, even I did not do it right at first. Look at the original Dirty Me history. I copied it from another story.

As for the chat type story, I am getting some ideas, but sadly, the experience I have had is actually sort of bad. More internet messages than chat clients, since I live abroad, and those are horrid.

Sadly, I can only get it to work when we want it to the left.

Eh, one thing I have found, you cannot force yourself to write. When you do, you end up with bad stories. I have done that enough myself, and don't like what I "force" out. As for the template, yeah, I tried to get it to work with the stuff on the right, but without being able to use a css sheet, and without being able to use javascript, it is really hard. I have to look around for a while for even something that sort of works. I saw some like what you are mentioning, but could not get them to work right... --Dirty Me 01:53, 7 June 2016 (UTC)

And for images, check my Too Graphic story. What I do is create the image link in a template. Then, if I need to edit the main page the image will be on, I don't need to worry about the 20 minute per submission. Make sure you get the template right before you submit, and don't preview, since that also triggers the 20 minute thing. So, just template it (And remember to check out how I do it in the template pages). That should allow you to get the image. But warning, I have not been able to figure out how to get the image to resize. Maybe once you select them and set up a template, you can play with the rest of your code on GA/Lucy/Friends and see if you can get it to fit correctly. You may need to play with it, and have lots of patience. I have also tried turning images into pure html, but they do not seem to work correctly... Anyways, check out the templates attached to the one pic per page of Too Graphic, maybe that will help. It is simply the address, and remember the <noInclude>[[Category:Blahblah]]</noInclude>. So, NT$300 is about USD $10, if that tells you how tight we are... He just graduated from college about 2 years ago, so is in a starting position, and I am a stay at home mom, so... yeah. I mean, I guess if you want, I could try to work with you on something longer term. Honestly, I can't tell you, since my edits are more experimentation themselves. It is hard without being able to use CSS properly. I think you will just need to experiment until you find something that works. As for a template in a template, I do not see why it wouldn't work. Think I have used one before. No worries, I get that way myself. Here is what I see from a computer. On GA/Lucy/Work/Leave, the chat itself has a scroll bar, and to see all the text you need to scroll. The options beside the send also have a scroll bar, but it fits the window so it doesn't scroll much, just to white space. The right side, no scroll bar or anything, but I assume you still need to put a picture in the bottom right. In the template, there are no scroll bars, but it isn't long enough to trigger one. You would need to test with large images. After testing your image section with my image from {{Too Graphic Templates/Housewife}}, I found that it will stretch the box. The left box, with the options, will stay the same, well, the white part. The red part however will stretch to match the size of the right side. If you want, I can save so you can see. But no scroll bar appears on the right side, when the image is rather large. --Dirty Me 08:46, 22 June 2016 (UTC)

I am thinking I might even add additional "apps" to texting. I did a calander test, and it looked pretty good. It is in wiki table format. lol, look at some of the stuff I have posted, just to figure out how to send you a picture of a flower. Or how to make a pure table smiley. I play around with it because it is fun. Nothing about being proud or not. I write on here because I need to keep practicing both my writing and my English, since I have found even now I have a bit of a Chinese accent and tend to write Chinglish sometimes. And sadly, my Chinese is not very good, so getting worse at English + not getting better at Chinese is rather difficult for communication. Anyways, nothing to do with pride or anything. Just something interesting to make this site more than white background with lots of black text. Sort of modernize it a little. But then again, I also put Dirty Me on chyoa.com because one thing I do like, they have hearts, easier comment areas, and like/dislike. Plus, the pathing is done for you automatically. But, they also do not really have a whole "everything" to play with like here. So, it is more like "Hey, cool, I figured out how to make this work!". Eh, did I mention before that I am also a nerd girl? I like games, romantic walks through post-nuclear war torn countries (Fallout), randomly shooting a raider in the head (again fallout), and annihilating entire civilizations (civilization/endless space). From time to time I like to zap around portals, figuring out puzzles (Portal), and with cheat mode, even farcry is okay for me (Not so much without cheats...I suck at those). I have my own private server for wow, for ffxi, for tera. Thank god for GM powers though. And I am really looking forward to No Man's Sky, so I can name all the stuff for Womankind in Mankind's world! I enjoy poking around C++, HTML, Javascript, PHP, LUA. Although I suck at it, I still like playing with it. Anyways, no reason to worry about "Hey I am so proud of this", as long as you are learning, growing, and enjoying. I did know that you could change the colours of the text, but I will admit that it didn't cross my mind to apply that when developing this easter egg. Well, either way it hardly matters. It can stay poorly hidden (hell, I added the page to my story categories anyways), since it's really just a page for fun, as well as for my own guidance.
