Try to take the soldier out silently

You hide behind a large rock. As soon as the soldier passes by, you pop out behind him and wrap your slender but muscular right arm around his neck. Before he can do anything, you use a quick, vicious jerk of your arm to break his neck. As his corpse collapses to the dirt, you look down at your kill with satisfaction.

Too soon. Suddenly, you feel a sharp pain in your back and hear a loud BANG. You've been shot. As you fall to the ground, you realize too late that these soldiers were smart enough to have someone cover the man who was taking a leak. More shots land near you as men begin pouring out of the truck.

Alia flies awake. Quickly grasping what's going on, she draws her gun and begins firing with one hand, using her other to hurl grenades. She has a good arm. One of her grenades explodes close enough to the truck that the driver panics and takes off, abandoning the soldiers who had jumped out. Though badly wounded, you help your friend as best you can with your own weapons, managing to blow two men up with a grenade and shooting another two dead. Alia finishes off the last soldiers with some well-aimed shots, then hurries over to you.

You look down at your bullet hole. Then you look up at Alia and shake your head. You know the wound is fatal. You're already feeling very weak from loss of blood and you know you don't have much time left.

"My right boot, just below the knee. Secret compartment. Something very important in there. Take it to CIA headquarters in Washington DC. Use the code phrase, 'The sun's gone dark, but the moonlight will finish the job.' They'll pay you well for it." You gasp out the words with the last of your strength while Alia holds you comfortingly.

As you expire, your last thought is hoping that Alia can complete the mission that you could not.
