The Grand Arena / Control Nami (6)
From Create Your Own Story
The Grand Arena
As Nami, you are walking back to the tubes of water at the moment without much regard to your team. If they wanted to sit around and not explore this place it was up to them, not you. This is a single player game at the heart anyways, you just won't get the advantage of a team early on. There are plenty of ups and downs to that, but with a team that is stupid enough to sit around instead of move on you figure that you were lucky to ditch them before they could get you in more trouble. Walking back down the stairs you think you hear something change upstairs.
Walking over to the room with the water tubes you give a glance at the team challenge gate for a moment. As you do though you are suddenly distracted by what seems like footsteps and the clanks of metal from where you came from. You can't help but look that way wondering what is happening to your team. You bring your gaze back to the forcefield though. Maybe you could just go through there instead of down one of the tubes and remain in the general area. You know enemy teams won't be around these parts yet and the other tubes may put you in some hot water.
But you glance over to the tubes. They have some real advantage to getting ahead in the game though. If you were to stay with your team or go through the forcefields you'd be going the normal path and not having any speed advantage. If you just switched it up with a big risk it could make all the difference.
So you find yourself back with the same three options, but without your team. You could risk the forcefields, which doesn't sound too bad, but could be risky just because you are not sure how you'll end up on the other side. Or you could risk the tubes by yourself. And last but not least it does sound like something is going on with your team. Checking it out might not be the worst idea even though you've already walked away. They could need your help after all.
