You swim effortlessly upward, your new body obviously made for moving through water. You burst through the surface of the lagoon and inhale fresh air. Breathing air is different from breathing water, but both seem to work just fine for you.
You've surfaced next to a small yacht. The captain leans over the railing and smiles at you.
"Ahoy there, Miss," he says. "Need a hand getting out of the water?"
