New things have always fascinated you, and you won't be missing this opportunity to talk to a real life human, let alone a female. You carefully step out into the pond, soaking your nice dress pants. The water isn't too deep, going up to your waist at most.
You are now only a few feet away from the still oblivious to your presence human. You've come this far, but what do you say to her? You've never talked to a human before. Do you even speak the same language? What if a compliment for you is an insult for her? You start panting in nervousness. This, unfortunately, makes the human girl notice you, and she slowly turns around. The two of you freeze as your eyes connect.
