Jill's memory tells you that this is Derrick "Bullhorn" something-or-other and he's a linebacker. Bullhorn belongs to the half of the team that you haven't slept with yet. You put on a bright smile and slide right past the football player saying, "Thanks, Bullhorn."

Homeroom is the usual mix of geeks, jocks, stoners, girls applying makeup, and kids rushing to finish their homework. The morning announcements remind you that the reason the cheerleaders are in their uniforms today is that there is a pep-rally after first period. You mostly ignore the other announcements and almost laugh at the PSA against teen pregnancy. Homeroom ends with a bell and your only class before the pep-rally is geography.
