Proceed to cell (sorry for being so linear)

In your cell, next to the other kid who got framed, you were listening to him saying he wants to get it over with. That he wants to die. Not fifteen seconds later, there was a huge crashing sound from his room. It sounded like glass and metal breaking.
You heard a soft voice say, "If you want to die, " suddenly, the voice got a little louder and merrier, it was a girls voice, "I'll kill you for you!" Your first thought was, Wow it is creepy when someone says something like that, and your second was, wait what's happening. There was some crashing around and some talking that you didn't really process. After about half a minute you heard her say, "I want to die is a lie. That what here says." Did she just rhyme casually? you thought. A little more talking and then, "Because Ganta and Shiro are friends."
The boy said, "How did you know my..." He trailed off. "If you were my friend, why would you try to kill me!?"
"Ganta wouldn't?"
"I'd never kill any of my friends." You could hear the sincerity of his words and the blatant sorrow in his voice. He was just an innocent kids a few days ago. You could tell. Someone walked into Ganta's cell, and you stopped listening.
