You show up at the gardening office the next morning right at 8 am. The man who hired you, Edgar, gives you a tour of the gardening shed. You grab some hedge trimmers, and Edgar takes you over to your area. He walks you around the whole area and points out the things you need to do. After about an hour, Edgar leaves you to trim the hedges.
You start trimming the hedges, but you keep getting scratched by the branches. And, the hedge trimmer isn't sharp enough, so you're getting really sweaty from working so hard. You decide that gardening is not for you.
You head back to the gardening office and tell Edgar that you're not cut out to be a gardener and quit.
You still need a job, so you go back to the university employment office. You look at the job postings and see that the only job available is as a janitor. Well, it's either that or drop out of college before you even start.
