Chapter 10: Traveling companion
Your bussiness finished with the massive minotaur you start packing what meager belongings you have and get ready for the journey ahead.
As you do so you notice Gorog looking at you forlornly, like a lost puppy-dog. Evidently he's all alone and has nowhere to go.
"Gorog, you seem very nice and all, and I'd invite you to come along with me if you want. But I have to warn you that I'll be travelling through towns populated with humans, and they believe Minotaurs are all monsters. It may be dangerous for you." You tell him solemnly, worry for this gentle giant evident in your voice.
Gorog's pathetic face lights up with joy that his new friend the elf-maid will let him join her.
"Me gO wIth PRettY Elf-Grrl!!! Me Am gOOOd!!! ShOW hU-Mahns MInOtAURs gOOD!!! HElp PRettY Elf-Grrl!" The man-beast bellows joyously.
"But Gorog, don't you have a home? A minotaur village where you could be with you own kind?" You inquire.
Gorog bows his head dejectedly and explains that he's been exiled from his village. The son of his village chief is just entering manhood, and his father promised the son, Ramgar, that he could choose any female in the village for his first mating. Of course the young bull picked the most beautiful minotaur female to couple with, which so happened was Gorog's mate: OooMah. OooMah refused to mate with the boy, insisting that she loved only Gorog. This infuriated the Chief and he banished Gorog as punishment until his son entered manhood by taking a female. As OooMah would not give in and Ramgar had not found any other female to his liking, Gorog had given up hope of ever returning to his village and wandered into the woods where he'd been infected with that parasite you saved him from.
"Don't worry Gorog. Now that you've got me as your friend, I'll see to it you aren't lonely again. Now follow me..."
