Sobbing, you call your mother and tell her you want to come home. She offers to buy you a bus ticket and give you your room back. But there will be some conditions.
First, you have to obey their rules again. No drinking, partying, you have a curfew, and you will be punished if you break these rules.
Second, no sex while you're living under their roof. "If you disobey this rule," she says, "we will put a stop to it."
Third, they want you to find a husband. If you don't make an effort to find one, they will kick you out. If you prefer, they can find one for you.
And fourth, you will not have your own money. Even if you get a job, you will give your paycheck to them and get a weekly allowance which they can refuse to pay if they see fit.
