Leaving/Janet/Get your make-up tips from your mom
From Create Your Own Story
You turn towards your mother. "So you do. Lead the way."
An hour later, you have improved considerably. The rest is just practice and gaining experience-- your knowledge base is quite sufficient.
"So, now what?" your sister asks as you and Mom return from your make-up lesson.
"Now I carry on, I suppose," you say.
"You need some better clothes," your sister grins. "Tomorrow morning I'll take you shopping. And I think this time I'll be a better guide than Mom, since we'll be looking at young people's fashions."
Your mom acknowledges the point. Your dad is quiet, but he seems to be slowly adjusting to the new reality.
After a good sleep-in, followed by a shower, a full body shave, dressing and a leisurely breakfast, you and your sister head out at 11:30 a.m. -- a good time to shop on a Saturday, judging by the number of people in the mall.
"You need to decide what store to hit first," your sister grins. She whispers a couple of options.
