Considering the matter settled for good, you return back to the feast. As you approach, you find Anastasia and your brothers having their own little celebration. Song, Dance, good wine, and a platter of hearty food; this is not the way one forces themselves upon another, especially not when it’s three against one. Despite being unaccustomed to your countries ways or your styles of music, Anastasia is doing very well and has the most genuine, content smile on her face. You figure it best to leave them be, no harm can be done here.
The guests of the feasts, ever the curious type and searching for royal gossip, try to pry you for information regarding your disappearance. You do your best to placate them while protecting the Northern guest; telling them only that a drunken fool attacked your brothers, and that Yuliy was able to protect them. With the rest of the activities of the feast, this event quickly falls from the attention and concern of your guests.
The next day, Yuliy is released from his cell without incident. His temper seems to have been controlled after a long and cold night in shackles. He asks no questions of his sister regarding the nights’ previous events, at least not that you had seen. His attitude is cordial, though lacking a loving appearance one would expect from family. You wonder if telling him was the right decision or not, but it’s too late to change course.
