Join the college-age kids tossing the football

You walk over towards where the football-throwers are. One of them lobs a pass at you, and you jump to catch it.

"Nice," says the thrower. "I'm Seth."

"Brandon," you reply. Seth introduces you to Dave, Marcus, Billy, Tom, Jake, Chuck, Larry and Gerald.

After a few more rounds of tossing the ball, a 5 on 5 game is formed up. Gerald quarterbacks your team, and Marcus quarterbacks the other team.

You make five receptions, including two touchdowns, but Marcus' toss to Jake is the game winner.

Everyone heads off, after you all promise to hang out again sometime. The boys usually come here three days a week, including Saturday mornings.

You have about two hours still to kill, and you're hungry.

• Grab a couple of hot dogs from the street vendor on the edge of the park
• Walk into the downtown area of the city, to the restaurant district
