Help Annabelle and investigate the world outside with her

"I can't take the waiting either," you say. You help Annabelle remove the cabinet from in front of the door. Silently unlocking it, you nod to the nurse, who stands ready with her axe. On the count of three, you yank the door open.
Both of you stare in horror at the scene in front of you. Three zombies are feeding on Holly's body. Across the room lies Jack's corpse - or just the parts the zombies didn't like.
With a cry, Annabelle uses her axe to decapitate the nearest zombie. You smash your bat into the second creature's head repeatedly, turning it into mush. The last zombie snarls and opens its mouth wide, but Annabelle hurls her axe, which embeds itself in the monster's skull. She then breaks down into sobs. You hold her comfortingly.
"If only we'd..." she begins.
You shush her. "Nothing good will come from 'if only.' Right now we need to focus on..."
A zombie growl comes...from somewhere *inside* the castle. Both of you look towards the noise, then at the smashed window. The zombies are not in sight, but they can't be far.
Annabelle wipes away her tears. "Come on. We've got to hunt them down before they take anyone else in the castle by surprise."
"What about the window?" you say. "We can't leave that open. More of them might come in."
"True. But there are two of us. One of us can handle each one."
