You head to the girls in the middle and luckily catch their attention.
“Hey,” you wave to them.
The girl with the rhinestones looks to both of her followers, who simply nod and leave her.
“You must be Julie,” you say to her, readying your hand for a handshake.
“Yes, I am,” she says. “And who might you be?”
“I’m one of your hall-mates. I’m Naomi; nice to meet you.”
From that, she smiles to you and turns away.
You start to wonder how to react to such an awkward situation being walked away from until you see her head turn halfway back and say, “Follow me, Naomi.”
