“That’s okay, girls,” you reply. “Take your time.” You turn to Yuriko and Amy, “You two can go in.”
They shake their heads. “We’ll just sit here with you,” Yuriko says.
“I wish I had brought my suit,” Amy says forlornly.
You watch the three girls swim and splash out in the pond. It’s hard from this distance to see much. Amy and Yuriko seem to ignore you as they chat on the shore.
Despite what you told them, the three girls emerge from the water quickly. You’re treated to one last view of Joy’s body before she slips her shirt and pants back on. The five of you hike back down to the camp.
