Although you can tell that Kathryn is in pain and needs some help, if you leave the game, you’ll miss your chance to help Rachel. You glance around and see Peggy further up the shore. You wave to her and she comes over.
You explain Kathryn’s injuries and feign ignorance about where to get medical help for her. Peggy says she’ll take care of it and the two of them go hobbling back towards the main building.
You continue to watch the game. The need to focus on helping Rachel win distracts you from enjoying the sights of the game as much as you would like. And Rachel certainly needs all of the help that she can get. Even with you making a number of generous calls her way, her team is consistently behind and it isn’t long before they are facing match point. Rachel is only a few points behind so if they can hang in there, they still have a chance to pull out the win.
Robin serves the ball for game point and it is fielded nicely by Michelle. Tiffany fields the rebound and passes it to Rachel at the front of the net. Rachel’s strike is hard and deep. Nobody is able to reach it, but the ball lands just outside of the back line, losing the match.
