You decide to forget about Alex. After all, if he is having fun, why can't you? Your parents seem cross, and your father says, "Let's talk about this inside." They pay for the tickets and take you to a building. "Don't you care about your friend?" She whispers. "Yes, but I can search for him and have fun at the same time." You reply. Your parents reluctantly agree and decide to look for a phone. You silently cheer. Hooray, now I'm in a theme park without no one watching over me. I'm alone. All the sudden, you realize, you're alone. You're alone in a scary theme park. But, of course it's not real monsters, they're just in costumes! Remembering why you're here, you walk around the park. Many rides are there including the hall of mirrors and the doom slide.
