There isn't a lot to see here. Judging by the paler rectangles marring the walls, you guess that the room might once have had many fine paintings decorating it, before the soldiers built that bonfire. You wonder why anyone would want to destroy artwork.
Looking up, you see that a fine, crystal chandelier is still intact, if a little smokey.
You kick at the charred pieces of wood and canvas at the center of the room. You tear away a piece of ruined carpetting and expose a wooden panel with a latch. A secret trap door?
