Eavesdrop on the party guests for Vladimir’s position
From Create Your Own Story
You hear a group of people talking loudly near you. You approach the group and stand somewhat awkwardly near them, just close enough to hear their conversation. They are talking about nothing of any interest to you, just something about somebody’s brother. One of them turns towards you and says, “May I help you?” You shake your head and walk away.
You approach another group talking about an equally mundane subject. Something about someone’s dog. Again, somebody notices you and you walk away. After jumping to a few more groups, you find a group talking about the party. This conversation turns out to be just as mundane as the others, for the people are only listing people that they know from the party. Nobody mentions Vladimir’s name.
As you turn away from the group, you are approached by a guard. “Excuse me sir,” he says, “but I have received complaints that you are eavesdropping on other people.”
“No, no. I’m not eavesdropping. I’m just trying to meet new people.”
“May I see your invitation and some form of government I.D.?”
You hand to him your invitation and your drivers license. He looks at the invitation, then to the drivers license. He returns the license to you and says, “Sir, you’re going to have to leave. This doesn’t appear to be your invitation.” He leads you out of the ballroom and out the front door. Looks like you’re kicked out of the party.
