The inner chamber of the medical frigate has grown quiet now that the droids and Leia have left. You are there alone with Skywalker, an uncomfortable tension in the air between the two of you. The youth looks to you and sighs, rubbing the mechanical prosthesis that has fitted onto his right arm. You remember how weak and vulnerable the man was when he first fell into your arms, tears sliding down his cheeks. His quiet and choked sobs into your breast stayed rattled inside your head. You couldn't help but feel guilty for all that this kid has been through - but at the same time, you know it could have only been worse.
"Skywalker," you finally say with a grin. He looks to you with the purest eyes you think you have ever seen. They glimmer and dazzle in the night, so pristene that you can make out your own reflection. You notice that the darkness and melancholy that once consumed him seemed to temporarily be lifted. You grow silent again, puzzled at the young man's reaction to you.
"You can call me Luke," he nodded, his lips peeling back to expose pearly whites.
