"We can save time if we split up," you say. "Give me the shopping list and I'll go to the supermarket while you get the, uh, the 'some clothes'. All right?"
"I guess we do save time that way. I'll see you later, then." You take the shopping list. The supermarket is stocked nicely, you get everything that is on the list. You even take time to compare prices. When you get back to the car, Julianne is already waiting inside.
On the way back to the cabin, there is no more mention of what you did yesterday. You are glad Julianne let you off so easy. Time to go home.
