Downfall/Help her, even if it is wrong

The man reaches Debra before you. "Miss," he says, "you need to follow me to the office."
Debra gasps. "Wh- what?" she asks.
"You need to follow me to the office. Now!"
Just in time you are close enough to step in. "Why are you talking to my daughter?" you command him to answer. Debra turns around, her eyes widen. She has guilt written all over her face. You ignore her and repeat your question.
"This is your mother?" the man asks Debra. You lay one hand on Debra's shoulder to prevent her from saying anything.
"Who are you?" you insist.
"Head of security, Ma'am," he replies. Head of security. Sound just like him to emphasize he is the head of security.
"Then what do you want from my daughter?" you ask. "You don't have any business with her."
"Do you want to discuss this in public?" he asks.
"Oh, in fact; yes, I do."
He looks surprised. Most people shy away from having an audience, but you know that Debra won't get the chance to get rid of the bracelet. It is a common practice to let suspects wait in a room in hopes to catch on film how they try to hide stolen goods while purportedly unsurveilled.
"Very well. Your daughter has stolen a bracelet."
"Impossible," you say. "What nonsense. Don't you dare accuse my daughter of being a shoplifter."
The slimy man shows a disgusting smile; it looks like he is anticipating the joys of destroying the image of your 'immaculate daughter'. You feel the urge of punching the bastard in the face.
"'tis true, I'm afraid."
"Don't be ridiculous. Nobody says 'tis true. In which century do you live?"
He looks irritated. "Do not derail this conversation, Ma'am. Your daughter has stolen a bracelet."
"You claim to have seen my daughter steal a bracelet?"
"Well, not in person, but we have evidence on camera."
That's the chance you needed. He has given you the pretense to check if a security camera can monitor Debra's back. You check the ceiling behind you. No cameras there. "I don't see security any cameras."
He turns around to point at a security camera. You step closer towards Debra as if to get a better view. Perfect. Debra's back now obscures your right arm from the camera's view. From your observation, you assume Debra didn't put the bracelet in her purse. But you need to be absolutely certain Debra has hidden the bracelet on her body and not in her purse before you can execute your plan.
