With traffic at a standstill, you get out of your car -- butt still bruised and stingy, the open air making you wince as you walk forward -- and make your way to the man's car. You're not one to back down from a confrontation, even if it's a really stupid idea, and the guy could overpower you with a single finger... why are you doing this again?
You tap on the window of his car and he gets out. As he casts a massive shadow over you, your legs turn to jello. The sudden rush of righteous bravery you felt has melted away. The mix of confusion and annoyance on his face tells you he doesn't even see you as a problem, more of a nuisance. Not a good thing for your pride.
