"You can bartend, right?" Asked Anise.
"Yes, I was a bartender at my previous job," Kinta replied.
"Alright, then, bar's right on the other side of this door." She unhooked the velvet rope and let him in.
On the other side of the door was a bar area, as well as a staircase on the far left and a door beside the bar. He walked over and through the gate to the bar, where he saw someone familiar: It was Lauren, Kinta's ex-girlfriend from three years ago.
"Hi, you're Kinta, right?" Asked Lauren. "The new bartender?"
He was shocked. She didn't even recognize her.
