Curious as to what's going on in the world, you make the rounds on a couple news channels. Luckily, your computer isn't affected by the GPD Firewall, so you have unhindered access to the Internet.
Fox News, as expected, was reporting on war crimes perpetrated on GPD soldiers They talked about how newly leaked information suggests that Clinton was going to have the Southern States subjected to martial law before secession was announced, and that they were lucky that Trump had saved them.
Switching to CNN, reporters there talked about significant gains in both California, Virginia, and Missouri. Experts there surmised the GPD wouldn't last another year. While they were exaggerating a bit, American military successes were becoming more frequent, and was very worrying.
Trying for a more non-biased source, you turn on BBC. However, England had it's own problems. Europe's entire economy had collapsed due to the war. The Brexxit had made them vulnerable, and the war had been the nail in the coffin. Parts of Spain were rebelling, Ireland had invaded Northern Ireland, ISIS had taken parts of Turkey, and so on. Russia had capitalized on our weakness and taken Ukraine, now eyeing the vulnerable Poland. These truly were dark times.
Depressed by all the wrong doing, you switch to some more local news. There was the usual crap, high school football, rally in support of Trump, etc., but one article caught your eye. It was about keeping a lookout for a suspect in espionage. His name was Roland Rivero, and apparently he was an illegal immigrant. While to many it would be a harmless public service announcement, the fact that Trump's censors let this through was huge. He must really be a problem, you think to yourself, making a mental note to research this further.
After wasting some more time on the internet, you decide to finish your work.
