You order as many people as possible to cover up under the plane's blankets and pillows, to add additional protection from the sun's deadly rays. It's not a perfect shield but it helps. By the time the team arrives, however, some of your minions have succumbed to the sun.

You call out from under your blanket. Your surviving minions add their voices. The rescue team quickly places all the survivors, including you, in ambulances to be whisked to a hospital in L.A.
