You nestle closer to Kerri and softly caress her face as you watch Sue Cheatham hurry off. Kerri murmurs and presses her body against yours. You kiss her cheek gently as you both relax, waiting for more people to watch.

A few minutes later, one of the people you're watching watches you back, then approaches. Susan's memory identifies her as Ashley Duruma, a very rich girl who attends the same school as you and Kerri. She's normally quite snobbish and standoffish, but her usual sneer is missing from her face. In fact, she looks shy and vulnerable. "Um... hi, Kerri," she stammers. "Hi, Susan."

Kerri smiles in a friendly way, and you give Ashley your trademark grin. "Hi, Ashley."

Ashley blushes, hesitates, and finally comes out with what's on her mind. "I'm tired of pretending to be a rich snob," she says, in a soft tone. "My dad won't let me date boys, but... perhaps you two could come home with me, and join me? In my bed? I'd like to be... friends and more."
